3:15 pm • Nevin Saylor Big Band
The Nevin Saylor Big Band will make its debut performance at this year’s festival, featuring some of the finest jazz musicians from Indiana County and beyond.
“Having a big band in Indiana has been a vision of mine for many years,” says Saylor. “I always thought that our community might be able to support a band such as this (much like the Johnstown ‘Jazz in Your Face’ big band). The Nevin Saylor Big Band is sort of an experiment to see if this idea might come to fruition. Who knows what the future may bring!”
