Support Pledged for Festival through 2019
Indiana, PA—Delaney Chevrolet has renewed their support for the Westsylvania Jazz & Blues Festival with a three-year pledge to continue as the festival’s naming sponsor through 2019.
“We love being a part of this festival. It’s a great event and the music is fantastic,” said owner Jack Delaney. “We’ve even had a couple of letters from people thanking us for helping out which is just such a nice thing. We’re glad to renew our sponsorship.”
Delaney Chevrolet began its relationship with the festival shortly before the inaugural festival in 2014, when they became naming sponsor for the 2014, 2015, and 2016 festivals. Their new sponsorship pledge continues their support for an additional three years, through the 2019 festival.
“We are excited and grateful to have Delaney Chevrolet supporting the festival for another three years,” said Mike Powers, festival steering committee chair. “They’ve been key to making this free, regional event possible. We look forward to continuing to grow the festival with the help of Delaney Chevrolet.”
This year’s Delaney Chevrolet Westsylvania Jazz & Blues Festival happens on May 28, 2016 from 10:30 am to 9:00 pm. The free, outdoor, one-day festival will once again present a full afternoon and evening of jazz and blues performances in IRMC Park, in downtown Indiana, Pennsylvania, followed immediately by late-night acts at four venues around town.
The festival is presented in partnership with the Indiana Arts Council. The steering committee includes representation from jazz quintet the Dad Band, founders of the festival and the local arts community. It is supported by a generous donation from Delaney Chevrolet of Indiana, Pennsylvania; a partnership with Pittsburgh JazzLive International Festival, a project of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust; The Lively Arts at IUP; 90.5 WESA and 91.3 WYEP, the official media sponsors for the 2016 festival and by corporate sponsors and individual patrons.
