The Westsylvania Blues Happy Hour features great, local blues music from the Jukehouse Bombers and great local beer from Levity Brewing Co. All proceeds benefit the Delaney Chevrolet Westsylvania Jazz & Blues Festival’s Patron Campaign, which aims to raise $6,000 for the festival by April 2.
The Jukehouse Bombers are familiar to anyone who came to the festival last year. They played a phenomenal tribute to local blues guitar legend Jeff Kelley, then followed that up with a great late night set at Spaghetti Benders. On March 27, they’ll be back in support of next year’s festival.
Levity Brewing Co. is in the process of opening Indiana county’s first craft microbrewery. You may have read about them in the Indiana Gazette or tasted their brews at the Downtown Indiana Oktoberfest. They’re brewing great beer, right here in Indiana, and they’ll be conducting a tasting at the Westsylvania Blues Happy Hour.
We’ll also have a selection of classic blues music played by our DJ, silent auctions for items from local artists and businesses, and a variety of snacks and appetizers.
VIPs will get in an hour early, enjoy a special selection of appetizers, and have first dibs on more local brews—from Draai Laag Brewing of Millvale, PA.
It all happens on March 27 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles (FOE), 420 Philadelphia Street, Indiana, PA. VIPs enter at 5:00, regular ticket holders enter at 6:00.
Regular and VIP tickets are available at The Artists Hand Gallery, Michael B Shoes, Holiday Beverages, at the Indiana Arts Council office, on our website, from any Steering Committee member, and at the door.
You must be at least 21 years old to attend. Hope to see you there!
