Jazz and funk bassist Dwayne Dolphin was recruited out of high school by Wynton Marsalis to tour with his quintet. A member of the Pittsburgh Jazz Hall of Fame, Dolphin has played and recorded with luminaries including Hank Jones, Nancy Wilson, Pharoah Sanders, Fred Wesley, and John Hicks. In 2018, the master instrumentalist released his eighth solo album, Indigenous.
