Stay Late! After-Hours Shows On Tap

The beat goes on, even after the last encore on Philadelphia Street.

The Artists Hand and Noble Stein Brewing Company will both host after-parties May 23 following Delaney Chevrolet Westsylvania Jazz and Blues Festival performances, which conclude with blues headliner Selwyn Birchwood’s 7:30 p.m. set.

You can catch Tyrone, PA-based jazz combo The Papertown Trio at ‘The Hand,’ located steps away at 732 Philadelphia Street. The Artists Hand is BYO-friendly for those 21+.

We’re told “The group derived their name from the rich industrial history of their hometown - most notably the paper factory which has been a staple of the community since 1881.  The trio has performed in and around the Central PA region, including a recent collaboration with the Altoona Brass Collective.”

You can also head down 7th Street to Wayne Avenue and Noble Stein (1170 Wayne Avenue) for another after-hours show. Additional details to come but, take note that Noble Stein is just down the street from our official lodging partner, the Hilton Garden Inn Indiana at IUP. Are we looking out for you, or what?!
