Jingle Jangle Jazz Event to Raise Funds for Festival on December 2, 2017

The Delaney Chevrolet Westsylvania Jazz and Blues Festival will hold Jingle Jangle Jazz, its holiday fundraiser, on December 2, 2017 from 6 to 9 pm at the Artists Hand Gallery and Espresso Bar.

Guitarist Al Craigie will be providing music for the occasion, which will feature food, drink, and a raffle for tickets to the December 3 performance by jazz group The Hot Sardines at IUP.

Jingle Jangle Jazz will also mark the kickoff of the Festival’s new “One Great Stocking Stuffer” raffle. Raffle tickets are $10 each; cash prizes ranging from $50 to $250 will be awarded every day in January. A total of $2,500 will be given away.

“As we head into our fifth year, we are more excited than ever about presenting this music in downtown Indiana, PA,” said Dave Ferguson, Steering Committee Chair. “We invite everyone to come out this weekend for great music and to help keep us the Delaney Chevrolet Westsylvania Jazz and Blues Festival free.”

Tickets to Jingle Jangle Jazz are $10 and are available at the Artists Hand and (soon) on the festival website. Raffle tickets will be available at Jingle Jangle Jazz and from steering committee members.

The following evening, December 3, the Festival is having a “Lively Collaboration” with IUP Lively Arts at IUP in support of The Hot Sardines, a New-York-based ensemble that entwines classic jazz with modern twists and a bit of tap dancing. Anyone can support the festival by using WJBF when buying tickets to this event by using code WJBF. This code will give you a $4 off the price of your tickets and donate $2 to the festival.

The fifth annual Delaney Chevrolet Westsylvania Jazz & Blues Festival takes place May 26, 2018 in Indiana, Pennsylvania’s IRMC Park. The free, one-day jazz and blues festival has featured nationally and internationally known musicians, regional acts, and student musicians playing in a classic American small town.
